HOTTAP v2 water heater

Heats the tub and keeps it hot through recirculation. One 9kg (20 lb) gas cylinder runs the system for up to 15 hours, with plenty left over for showers afterwards.

Plug-and-play recirculation

Quick-connect couplings link the tub to your HOTTAP v2 in seconds. Hot water flows in one side, cool water cycles back to the heater to be brought up to temperature again.

12V circulation pump

Drives the recirculation loop using 12V power. Plugs straight into your vehicle's socket or the Joolca Power Bank, so the tub stays hot off-grid with no mains required.

Drop-stitch construction

High-pressure drop-stitch panels make the walls rigid when inflated. Stiff enough to sit on the edge without spilling, and stable enough to hold its shape with two adults inside.

Room for two adults

Two adults can stretch out fully across 1.95m (6'5") of length and 92cm (36") of width. Walls sit 51cm (20") high, deep enough to keep your shoulders submerged when sitting upright.

Insulated cover

10mm closed cell foam keeps the water temperature from dropping when you're not in the tub. Step out, cover up, come back when you're ready.

Durable UV-proof PVC

1mm UV-proof PVC on the side walls means it handles sun, heat, and rough ground without degrading. The same material used in inflatable boats and SUP boards.

Childproof clips

Secure clips hold the insulated cover in place so it doesn't shift while the tub is in use or heating up.

Inflation point

Single inflation point, compatible with the included air pump. A couple of minutes and it's rigid and ready to fill.

HOTTAP quick-connections

Quick-connect fittings link directly to your HOTTAP V2. Water circulates continuously through the heater so the temperature stays consistent the whole time you're soaking.

Reinforced insulated floor

0.6mm PVC floor with 10mm closed cell foam insulation. Cushioned enough to stand and sit on comfortably, and insulated so the ground doesn't pull heat out from below.

  • How long does it take to heat up?

    With a HOTTAP V2 connected, the water reaches soaking temperature in under two hours. The exact time will vary depending on ambient temperature and your starting water temperature.

  • Do I need a HOTTAP V2 to use it?

    Yes. HOTTUB doesn't have its own heating element. It connects to a HOTTAP V2, which heats and recirculates the water. The HOTTAP Outing Kit is included in this bundle.

  • How much water does it hold?

    Around 300L (79.3 gal) with two people in, or around 350L (92.5 gal) solo. Keep that in mind when choosing your water source.

  • Does it come with a pump?

    Yes. An air pump is included. It inflates in a couple of minutes.

  • What if it gets a puncture?

    A repair kit is included in the box for minor punctures and tears.
